Dimas was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in May. The oncology team at Medan University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Dimas is 37, worked as a taxi driver until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Medan University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,350 goes: • Scans and lab work: $270 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $970 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $110 Thank you for reading my story.

wishing you the best, Maya. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
