Craig is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at Los Angeles Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,300. The registrar has said Craig can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Craig has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Craig would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Craig isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $4,300 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $75 • Outstanding tuition balance: $2,900 • Final term tuition: $1,325 With deep gratitude, Beth
