Bea is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at the Caloocan Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800. The registrar has said Bea can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Bea has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Bea would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Bea isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Caloocan Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $800 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $200 • Final term tuition: $480 • Exam and lab fees: $55 • Textbooks and materials: $65 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
