Ayesha was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at Narayanganj Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Ayesha is 25, worked as a tailor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Narayanganj Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $400 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $80
• Scans and lab work: $180
• Household costs while unable to work: $140
