Peshawar

Asad is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at Peshawar Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $400. The registrar has said Asad can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Asad has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Asad would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Asad isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $400 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $35 • Exam and lab fees: $35 • Outstanding tuition balance: $330 If you're reading this, thank you. - Sadia
