Inés, my mother, passed away on 3 December after a road accident. She was 92 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,900 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 14 December.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Inés to have a dignified farewell.
