Andrew is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Andrew was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in July. The oncology team at Newcastle upon Tyne University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Andrew is 30, worked as a nurse until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Newcastle upon Tyne University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,850
