Hamisi's final semester of a degree in social work in Entebbe

Hamisi is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in social work at Entebbe State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $300. The registrar has said Hamisi can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Hamisi has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Hamisi would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Hamisi isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Entebbe State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $300 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $50 • Exam and lab fees: $40 • Outstanding tuition balance: $210 Every share and every dollar helps. - Wanjiru
