Gihan's final semester of an accounting degree in Colombo

Gihan is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at Colombo State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800. The registrar has said Gihan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Gihan has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Gihan would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Gihan isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Colombo State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $800 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $260 • Final term tuition: $410 • Exam and lab fees: $55 • Textbooks and materials: $75 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
