Funeral costs for Marie's grandfather, Lucas
Lucas passed away on 17 January; we're raising $4,300 for a respectful funeral in Bordeaux.

Lucas, my grandfather, passed away on 17 January after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 86 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,300 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 31 January.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Lucas to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $4,300 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $3,650
• Transport of the deceased: $400
• Memorial gathering for the family: $250
