Funeral costs for Babatunde's grandfather, Yakubu
Babatunde lost his grandfather suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $650.

Yakubu, my grandfather, passed away on 27 February after a short illness. He was 34 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 9 March.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Yakubu to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Benin City hospice.

• Funeral home services and casket: $430
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $95
• Transport of the deceased: $70
• Memorial gathering for the family: $55
