Fighting thyroid cancer: help Qasim afford treatment in Hyderabad

Qasim was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in July. The oncology team at the Hyderabad Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Qasim is 33, worked as a nurse until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Hyderabad Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
