Fighting stomach cancer: help Tomás afford treatment in Coatzacoalcos
Tomás is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Tomás was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at Coatzacoalcos Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Tomás is 32, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Coatzacoalcos Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Transport to Coatzacoalcos Regional Medical Center: $150
• Household costs while unable to work: $490
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,700
• Scans and lab work: $210
