Fighting stomach cancer: help Mei afford treatment in Setagaya
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Setagaya Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Mei was diagnosed with stomach cancer in January. The oncology team at Setagaya Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in April. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Mei is 46, worked as a bakery worker until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Setagaya Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $430
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,500
• Transport to Setagaya Regional Medical Center: $420
