Fighting stomach cancer: help John afford treatment in Flint
John is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

John was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at the Flint Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
John is 42, worked as a tailor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Flint Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
