Débora was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in December. The oncology team at Campinas University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in February. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Débora is 31, worked as a bakery worker until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Campinas University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $2,250 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $610 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,150 • Scans and lab work: $310 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $180 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
