Travis was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January. The oncology team at the Los Angeles Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Travis is 48, worked as a hairdresser until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Los Angeles Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
