Marcus was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in May. The oncology team at Yonkers University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Marcus is 53, worked as a nurse until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Yonkers University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
