Leo was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in October. The oncology team at Joliet Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Leo is 43, worked as a tailor until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Joliet Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Scans and lab work: $750
• Transport to Joliet Regional Medical Center: $630
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,750
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $970
