Dwarka
Habib was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Dwarka Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Habib is 55, worked as a bank teller until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dwarka Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $800 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $330 • Transport to Dwarka Cancer Centre: $145 • Scans and lab work: $240 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $85 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
