Caroline was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in February. The oncology team at the Surrey Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in May. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Caroline is 25, worked as a taxi driver until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Surrey Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Household costs while unable to work: $1,250
• Transport to the Surrey Oncology Institute: $780
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,750
• Scans and lab work: $920
