Envigado
Ximena was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in April. The oncology team at Envigado University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Ximena is 25, worked as a hairdresser until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Envigado University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,150 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $400 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $105 • Transport to Envigado University Hospital: $290 • Scans and lab work: $355 Thanks for being kind about this.
