Fighting multiple myeloma: help Rowan afford treatment in San Jose
Rowan is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Rowan was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in January. The oncology team at San Jose Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Rowan is 58, worked as a bakery worker until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Jose Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,000
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,150
• Scans and lab work: $900
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $500
