Fighting kidney cancer: help Sudhakar afford treatment in Mysuru
Sudhakar is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Sudhakar was diagnosed with kidney cancer in February. The oncology team at the Mysuru Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Sudhakar is 42, worked as a nurse until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Mysuru Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,200
• Scans and lab work: $130
• Transport to the Mysuru Oncology Institute: $145

• Household costs while unable to work: $265
