Fighting Hodgkin lymphoma: help Mateo afford treatment in Memphis
Mateo is facing Hodgkin lymphoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Mateo was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in March. The oncology team at the Memphis Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Mateo is 24, worked as a taxi driver until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Memphis Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $11,800 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,000
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,250
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,400
• Transport to the Memphis Oncology Institute: $1,150
