Fighting colon cancer: help Óscar afford treatment in Ciudad de México
Óscar is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Óscar was diagnosed with colon cancer in June. The oncology team at Ciudad de México Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Óscar is 43, worked as a farmer until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ciudad de México Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Household costs while unable to work: $500
• Scans and lab work: $470
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,400
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $280
