Nargis was diagnosed with colon cancer in May. The oncology team at Hubballi Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Nargis is 33, worked as a primary school teacher until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Hubballi Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
