Joshua is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

San Fernando
Joshua was diagnosed with colon cancer in May. The oncology team at San Fernando Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Joshua is 54, worked as a bakery worker until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Fernando Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $850 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $135 • Household costs while unable to work: $350 • Transport to San Fernando Regional Medical Center: $165 • Scans and lab work: $200 Glad we found this place. - Elena
