Fighting colon cancer: help Alejandra afford treatment in Saint Paul
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Saint Paul University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Alejandra was diagnosed with colon cancer in July. The oncology team at Saint Paul University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Alejandra is 45, worked as a taxi driver until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Saint Paul University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
