Fighting cervical cancer: help Emmanuel afford treatment in Ho
Emmanuel is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Emmanuel was diagnosed with cervical cancer in December. The oncology team at Ho Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Emmanuel is 57, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ho Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,100
• Scans and lab work: $260
• Transport to Ho Cancer Centre: $120
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $45
• Household costs while unable to work: $175
