Valentina was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in February. The oncology team at Southampton Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in April. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Valentina is 35, worked as a tailor until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Southampton Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
