Feed 77 families each week at Community Pantry in Rome
Viktoria runs a volunteer pantry feeding 77 families; this fund restocks shelves for the winter.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Tuesday from the back of a community center. We started with 20 families, and now we feed 77 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 50% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 19 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Rome market and keep every receipt.
Each $35 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,050
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,000
• Baby formula and diapers: $240
• Refrigeration and electricity: $310
