Feed 399 families each week at the Harvest Pantry in Kochi
The the Harvest Pantry pantry in Kochi is running low just as demand rises; $650 will stock it for 7 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Harvest Pantry every Tuesday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 14 families, and now we feed 399 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 33% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 18 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Kochi market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $650 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $350
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $165
• Baby formula and diapers: $105
• Refrigeration and electricity: $30
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending love. More neighborhoods should do this. Greetings from Hồ Chí Minh City.
Wishing you the best, Prakash. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
