Feed 380 families each week at the Thursday Table in Gazipur
The the Thursday Table pantry in Gazipur is running low just as demand rises; $250 will stock it for 7 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Friday from the back of a school canteen. We started with 13 families, and now we feed 380 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 60% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 6 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Gazipur market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $250 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $100
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $55
• Baby formula and diapers: $60
• Refrigeration and electricity: $35
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
