Feed 378 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Addis Ababa
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Addis Ababa is running low just as demand rises; $150 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Wednesday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 13 families, and now we feed 378 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 51% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Addis Ababa market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $150 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $40
• Refrigeration and electricity: $35
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $75
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
Updates from Biniam
Good news. Because of your gifts ($57 in total) the plan for rice, beans, flour and oil is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Thinking of you and your family, Biniam. Great idea, hope you get there. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
