Feed 338 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Bekasi
Help keep a free food pantry open for families and seniors in Bekasi.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 20 families, and now we feed 338 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 46% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 9 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Bekasi market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $350 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $150
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $85
• Baby formula and diapers: $70
• Refrigeration and electricity: $45
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Updates from Wulan
Good news. Because of your gifts ($284 in total) the plan for fresh vegetables and fruit is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
We're at 27% thanks to 3 of you. I met with the wholesaler and confirmed the amounts. More news soon.
