Feed 328 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Kharkiv
Dmitry runs a volunteer pantry feeding 328 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2019, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 27 families, and now we feed 328 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 48% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Kharkiv market and keep every receipt.
Each $10 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $700 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $350
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $240
• Baby formula and diapers: $95
• Refrigeration and electricity: $15
Thanks for being kind about this.

Take care. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Greetings from Aswan.
Stay strong. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Mumbai.
