Feed 308 families each week at Open Hands Pantry in London
Elena runs a volunteer pantry feeding 308 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Open Hands Pantry every Friday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 9 families, and now we feed 308 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 36% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 12 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the London market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Baby formula and diapers: $500
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $380
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,270
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
