Since 2023, our volunteer team has run the Sunday Shelf every Sunday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 13 families, and now we feed 283 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 55% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 9 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Abuja market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $350 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $125
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $125
• Baby formula and diapers: $65
• Refrigeration and electricity: $35
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Shared this with my family. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Warri.
so sorry you're going through this. Hope you get there. God bless
So sorry you're going through this, Yakubu. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Southampton.
