Feed 279 families each week at Neighbors' Pantry in Nuremberg
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Nuremberg is running low just as demand rises; $3,200 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Saturday from the back of the parish hall. We started with 25 families, and now we feed 279 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 35% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 8 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Nuremberg market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $3,200 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,650
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $990
• Baby formula and diapers: $290
• Refrigeration and electricity: $270
Thanks for being kind about this.
