Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Sunday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 26 families, and now we feed 247 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 54% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 20 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Agra market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $450 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $270
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $70
• Baby formula and diapers: $85
• Refrigeration and electricity: $25

Thank you all. We're at 13% now ($57). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 13% funded and the plan for refrigeration and electricity is now scheduled.
Small update. $50 so far, we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.
