Tatsuya, my grandfather, passed away on 23 July after a stroke. He was 86 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,050 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 29 July. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Tatsuya to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Setagaya hospice. Where the $4,050 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $290 • Funeral home services and casket: $2,700 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,060 Glad we found this place.
