After the sudden passing of Ramón, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Ramón, my uncle, passed away on 25 March after a short illness. He was 23 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,200 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 8 April.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ramón to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $600
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $440
• Transport of the deceased: $75
• Memorial gathering for the family: $85
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Emiliano.
Funeral home services and casket is $600 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Thanks, that means a lot.
sending good thoughts, Emiliano. This could happen to any of us. Blessings.
you're not alone. This could happen to any of us. All the best
Thanks for sharing this, Emiliano. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
