Parker, my husband, passed away on 23 May after a short illness. He was 54 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,300 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 5 June. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Parker to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $3,300 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $1,750 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,100 • Transport of the deceased: $210 • Memorial gathering for the family: $240 Thank you so much.
