Farewell fund for Michel: help Louis's family in Grenoble
Louis lost his brother suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $3,400.

Michel, my brother, passed away on 3 August after a sudden heart attack. He was 24 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,400 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 14 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Michel to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.

• Funeral home services and casket: $1,950
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $980
• Transport of the deceased: $145
• Memorial gathering for the family: $325

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. funeral home services and casket comes first ($1,950) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.
