Frida, my sister, passed away on 6 October after a sudden heart attack. She was 69 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $5,050 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 14 October.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Frida to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Funeral home services and casket: $3,300
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $990
• Transport of the deceased: $520
