Farewell fund for Ali: help Okan's family in Istanbul
Ali passed away on 24 April; we're raising $1,150 for a respectful funeral in Istanbul.

Ali, my husband, passed away on 24 April after a sudden heart attack. He was 34 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,150 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 2 May.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Ali to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $160
• Transport of the deceased: $140
• Funeral home services and casket: $850
