Emergency vet bill for Poppy in Fukuoka
A tabby kitten named Poppy needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $2,350 bill the family can't cover.

Poppy is my tabby kitten of thirteen years. On 27 August we rushed to Fukuoka Animal Hospital with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,350.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $75 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Fukuoka Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,350 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,550
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $530
• Medication and follow-up visits: $105
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $165
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

good luck, Reiko. Shared this with my family.
Wishing you peace, Reiko. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
give Poppy a hug from me
hang in there, Reiko. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. All the best
