Mocha, Sofía's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for a tumor on the spleen costing $1,650.

Mocha is my German shepherd of three years. On 30 June we rushed to the Alcalá de Henares Emergency Vet Clinic with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,650.
They have stabilized Mocha, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Mocha is more than a pet - Mocha is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $240 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Alcalá de Henares Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Mocha's recovery.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $920
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $480
• Medication and follow-up visits: $135
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $115
Every share and every dollar helps.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. Sent it to 32 people at work. God bless.
Praying for you. Hope you get there. After 10 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Sending good thoughts, Sofía. Poor Mocha, hope they feel better soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings.
Hope things get better soon. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Greetings from Sacramento.
Thinking of you and your family. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
