Emergency vet bill for Bruno in San Francisco

Bruno is my cat of thirteen years. On 17 September we rushed to San Francisco Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,100. They have stabilized Bruno, but the treatment can't wait beyond December. Bruno is more than a pet - Bruno got me through my hardest year. I have already put $170 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to San Francisco Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,100 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,300 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $420 • Medication and follow-up visits: $160 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $220 Thanks for being kind about this. - Weston
